Circa is the first high rise casino to be built in Downtown Las Vegas in over 40 years!  Area 51 Film Group has been there from the beginning to document it all.

This viral marketing campaign gained over 250,000 video views on Facebook from targeted customers in Nevada, Arizona and California.

​The series explored the recent purchase of the casino by Joe DeSimone; and, what it takes to run the oldest casino in the US. At 85 years old, the casino has its share of headaches, expenses and "sweat and tears."


The show captures Joe and his dedicated team hard at work renovating, innovating and providing that old school customer service on which Las Vegas was built. The series further explores all the exciting new construction surrounding the Railroad Pass and the Highway 11 bypass, including the construction of a huge travel pavilion.

This documentary follows street performers in Las Vegas, Nevada, specifically focusing on people who dress up as various characters.

The characters solicit tourists for tips in exchange for taking photos with them.

 

The documentary follows these characters on the Las Vegas strip and at the Fremont Street Experience as they attempt to earn a living.

The documentary also explores the private and family lives of these individuals as they engage in various activities, and through personal interviews.

Originally commissioned by the city of Mesa, AZ to celebrate MLK day.

 

This groundbreaking documentary follows four distinct minority groups- African Americans, Native Americans, Hispanics and Japanese Americans in their struggles for equality in the Southwest.

First hand stories, including children of slaves and survivors of internment camps, reveal an area of racism that few have ever seen.  Interviews from this project have been included in the city's official archives.

Often humorous and poignant this feature documentary follows 15 athletes on a Special Olympics basketball team in their quest for gold.  For the first time these athletes tell us about their world, share their stories and show us what makes their lives so amazing.

Throughout the journey the athletes along with their coaches and families give us insight into the challenges facing these with disabilities while showing us how capable they really are.
