Lawrence Porter
A graduate of Full Sail Center for Recording Arts, Lawrence spent his formative years as a musician and recording engineer in Atlanta and Los Angeles. In 1991 he made a life changing move to become the first American ever to work for the Russian Television and Radio Network in Moscow, Russia. There, he helped create some of the first westernized national ads.
After three years, however, a family request brought Lawrence back to the US...and out of the entertainment industry for awhile. Working with world class companies like Calvin Klein, Ralph Lauren, Champion, T-Mobile and Starbucks, Lawrence developed skills in all aspects of business including contract negotiation, sales, marketing, accounting and project management.
The business background and experience Lawrence gained is the foundation for the operation of Area 51 Film Group.
In 1999 Lawrence moved to the Los Angeles area so that he and Kim could pursue their dream of producing quality entertainment productions.

She graduated Emerson College in Boston with a BFA in theatre design technology and spent several years working as a stage hand and theatrical lighting designer.
In 2009 she moved to the Los Angeles/Las Vegas area to pursue an interest in live television broadcast. Around the same time her blog, originally a side project, went viral. Managing her blogs social media and connecting with other new media content creaters was an eye opening experience. Through this all she saw the opportunity to work on the production side of new media content creation and social media management. Combining the fast paced nature of theatre and the ever changing and always interesting landscape of television, she fell in love with new media. She looks forward to helping Area 51 Film Group combine the best of traditional and new media into new projects.
